Transit & Mobility
Mobility works when schedules, maintenance, access, and respectful communication serve real daily lives.
Transit is a promise about time, dignity, and access. Tracks, vehicles, stations, sidewalks, and signals are the visible pieces, but the promise is kept through coordination and care. A rider needs understandable information, a worker needs a route that reflects real shifts and errands, and a caregiver needs confidence that a trip can accommodate another person. Ask how agencies learn from missed connections, confusing changes, and barriers that appear ordinary to people with other options. Who can report a problem, and what happens after they do? Are maintenance decisions explained in ways that respect riders' time? When service choices are difficult, do leaders make the tradeoffs legible? Mobility infrastructure succeeds when it treats people not as demand on a diagram, but as neighbors whose days depend on being able to move.
